Abstract

A Goal report offers libraries the ability to track goals (also called conversions), however there is often disconnect between what libraries consider a goal and how Google Analytics defines it. Learn about Google Analytics’s goal setting ability and the types of goals it offers. Chapter 6 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 49, no. 4) “Maximizing Google Analytics: Six High-Impact Practices” concludes with advice for libraries to connect their strategic goals directly to a Goal report.
