Chapter 3: Workflow Analysis
DOI:
https://doi.org/10.5860/ltr.50n3Abstract
Management of electronic resources depends primarily on how library workflow is arranged. Different elements such as acquisitions processes depend on an efficient workflow setup. Chapter 3 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 50, no. 3) “Electronic Resource Management Systems: A Workflow Approach” covers how to do a workflow analysis to discover issues with current library resource management, using methods such as the DLF report steps and the TERMS outline. Once a workflow analysis is conducted the library can use the results to determine their selection criteria for adding an ERMS.
