Abstract
Chapter 2 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 52, no. 5), “Improving Web Visibility: Into the Hands of Readers”
Discusses the basic mechanics of Google’s search engine. It presents Google’s best practices as communicated to web designers for getting website pages indexed and describes how the Knowledge Card draws from Semantic Web practices.
